SPRING LAKES HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION

2025 POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

The goals of these rules is to ensure the safety and well-being of all pool users.

The following rules consfitute the current requirements governing the use, operafion, and

availability of the Spring Lakes swimming pool. These rules are for the safety and protecfion of

all residents and their guests. Failure to follow these rules may result in immediate removal

from the pool and pool privileges may be suspended. These rules may be amended at any fime.

Hours of operafion for the pool will be posted outside of the pool/bathhouse area.

PERMITTED USERS AND ENTRY:

1. The lifeguards will control entry to the pool. Entry will be restricted when the pool is at its

occupancy load of 137. Guest may bring their own chair.

2. Each household will be allowed 4 guests. This number may be revised from fime to fime.

Residents are required to ensure their guest(s) are aware of and adhere to all pool rules.

3. Only you and your household members are allowed to register for pool passes. You must be

enrolled in the pool pass system, Cell Badge, in order to enter the pool. Passes may be

authorized to non residents on a case by case basis.

4. The lifeguards or staff members of the Pool management company may prohibit and revoke

pool passes for any unsafe, inappropriate or disrupfive behavior. All pool patrons must adhere

to their direcfion.

5. Children five and under or any non- proficient swimmers (anyone who lacks the skills to swim

effecfively without assistance or is dependent on floatafion aids) MUST be within arms reach of

a parent or guardian at all fimes while in the pool.

6. Non-lap swimmers should take caufion to not interfere or cause to interfere with individuals

swimming laps in the lap lane (lane farthest away from the parking lot).

7. Children ages 14 and younger MUST be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult

(an adult is defined as a qualified, responsible member of the community or their designate, 18

years of age or older) while in the pool enclosure or pool clubhouse.

8. Children 15, 16 and 17 years old may be admifted to the pool unaccompanied provided they

demonstrate good swimming skills and are well-behaved.

9. Lifeguards have the right to conduct a swimming test to ensure swimming ability of anyone

using the pool.10. Lifeguards have the right to reject or refuse admission to individuals who violate these rules

or pose a safety risk.

11. Admiftance to the pool will be denied and pool passes revoked for any homeowner or their

tenant who is not in good standing with the Associafion. This includes those who: (a) are

delinquent (60 days past due) on their assessment payment, (b) have been cited for a failure to

follow the covenants requirements of the Associafion, including failure to maintain their home,

parking violafions, failing to request approval from the HOA for an architectural modificafion

to their home or lot or (c) other HOA non resolved violafion(s).

12. All residents and their guests must sign-in and sign-out with the lifeguard. Guests must be

accompanied at all fimes by the resident while in the pool area.

13. Entry will be denied to anyone with any of the following condifions: Covid symptoms,

communicable diseases, wearing bandages, skin abrasions, coughs, colds, severely enflamed

eyes, infecfions, open sores, excessive sunburn, or nasal or ear discharge.

14. All residents and guests are required to enter and exit the pool though the clubhouse

restrooms. The gate on the pool fence enclosure is for emergency access only.

15. All children accompanied by an adult must be closely monitored and supervised at all fimes

while in the pool or on the pool deck. Lifeguards WILL NOT be babysifters for any children left

unaftended.

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

16. All swimmers must shower before entering the water or risk suspension of pool use

privileges.

17. All swimmers must wear appropriate swimming aftire. Street clothes of all types are

prohibited in the pool. Any person with inconfinence issues must wear swim diapers and should

be appropriately dressed and regularly checked.

18. Residents or their guests will be held responsible for the cost of closing the pool and

cleaning due to repeated accidents.

19. Bicycles, Scooters, any types of skates (i.e. roller or inline), wheeled vehicles (except

aftended strollers and wheelchairs) are not allowed in the pool enclosure.

20. Pets are not allowed in the pool enclosure or in the pool clubhouse.

21. The lifeguards has the authority to close the pool for weather, equipment failure, or other

hazardous or unsafe condifions.LIABILITY:

22. Anyone using the pool does so at his or her own risk. The associafion is not reasonable for

theft or loss or damage of any personal property at the pool or pool house. Unclaimed items

may be disposed after fourteen (14) days by the pool management company.

23. Lifeguards will be on duty, at all fimes, during pool operafing hours to ensure safe swimming

condifions. Supervision of children is the sole responsibility of the accompanying adult.

24. Residents are liable for all damages to the community facilifies caused by them and/or their

family members or guests.

25. Persons using the pool are responsible for observing condifions and promptly reporfing any

unsafe condifions to the pool management staff.

PERSONAL CONDUCT:

26. Running, pushing, wrestling, acrobafics, or any type of horseplay anywhere in the pool

enclosure is prohibited.

27. No diving is allowed off the pool deck.

28. No hanging from the basketball rims, nets, or backboards.

28. Spifting, spoufing water, and nose blowing are not permifted.

39. No abusive, offensive, or profane language shall be permifted.

31. Smoking is prohibited.

32. Any behavior causing a safety issue or that is a detriment to others will not be tolerated.

Individual(s) who are responsible for such behavior will be immediately removed from the pool

at the discrefion of a either a member of the Pool Management Company, a member of the

HOA’s property management company, or a HOA board member.

FOOD AND DRINK:

33. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

34. Chewing gum is not allowed in the pool enclosure.

35. Food and refreshments are permifted within the deck and picnic area. No eafing or drinking

is allowed in the swimming pool.

ITEMS IN THE POOL ENCLOSURE: :36. Glass (except for eyewear) is prohibited.

37. The use of toys and rafts will be allowed in the pool, at the discrefion of the lifeguard on

duty, based on the number of people in the pool. Toys shall be properly returned to the toy

trunk after use. It is not the lifeguard’s responsibility to pick them up. Otherwise, all toys will

be removed from the pool area.

38. No barbecue grills are allowed in the pool area or on the recreafion facilifies without prior

wriften approval from the Associafion.

39. The pool management staff (including lifeguards), the property management staff or board

member have the authority to take immediate acfion to address specific problems or situafions

not specifically covered by these rules.
